We are a welcoming group and it’s easy to join NCQHA.

The membership application is available on the next page. Just click on JOIN US in the drop-down menu. Fill it out and mail in with payment as instructed. You will note that membership runs from January through December, no matter when you sign up.

NCQHA’s membership boundaries include the area north of Interstate-70 and roughly east of the Continental Divide. In partnership with our “sister” group, the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Association (RMQHA.com), we encourage Quarter Horse involvement across the state. 

Regular meetings are held at 7 PM on the second Monday of each month during January, February, March, September, October, November and December at Johnson’s Corner Restaurant, Johnstown, Colorado. Other months may have meetings as needed and will be announced. (NOTE: Due to COVID-19 protocols, most meetings are being held virtually via ZOOM. We have friendship- and family-oriented roots. The association is actively engaged in:

• Sponsoring two AQHA-approved Quarter Horse shows each year,
• Managing numerous trail rides in beautiful, colorful Colorado,
• Offering year-end awards,
• Planning educational activities, and
• Enjoying the annual Christmas party!
