NCQHA News – June 2021
by Cindy Haugen, Vice President
Our members are finally getting some riding in – individually, in small groups, and with the Club. Yay!
Our Red Mountain guest ride that was postponed from May 8 was finally held May 22. The weather finally cooperated, and we had a beautiful day to ride. We had nine riders, two of whom were guests. Following the three-hour ride, we all enjoyed the picnic lunches each rider brought.
Our next trail ride was also a guest ride and was held at Barr Lake on Sunday, June 13. And, hooray! We celebrated the return of our traditional potluck with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs – plus side dishes from attendees. First time in over a year!
Another fun event this month was an Obstacle Management Clinic on June 5 at Cindy Loader’s Spirit Dancer Ranch. This was a clinic for members only. What a fun time! We had some great instruction from Cindy. Thanks goes to Kryss Kornfeld for getting this set up.
